The Chernomorsk seaport intends to create additional capacities of 14 million tonnes and transport 23 million tons of grain per year by 2020.

This was reported by the port press-service.

According to the information provided, a number of projects have already gone through the documentation stage and their implementation has already begun, so the Chernomorsk Seaport has a high chance to become the leading grain transportation port in Ukraine.

It was previously stated  that according to the report of the Deputy Head of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority Vyacheslav Voronoj, the Ukrainian grain transportation port capacities will make 157.3 million tons of grain cargoes annually by 2020.

We would like to remind that for the period of January-October 2016 the biggest  grain transportations were performed by Nikolaev (7.2 million tons) and the Odessa sea ports (6.8 million tons).
