Belarus has banned the import of poultry from Ukraine, Austria and Romania

Starting from December 3, Belarus has temporarily restricted import of poultry from several regions of Ukraine, Austria and Romania due to identified cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza disease in these areas.

It is reported by APK-Inform with reference to the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture in the Republic of Belarus

It is noted that the ban concerns the supplies from Kherson region of Ukraine, Upper Austria and Salzburg, Austria, as well as the south-eastern region of Romania.

The ban is applied to the supplies of live poultry, hatching eggs, poultry meat, egg powder, feed and feed additives of poultry and plant origin.

We would like to remind that the death of different species of poultry was registered in private households in Kherson region.
