Mriya purchased a UAH 500 thousand UAV

Mriya Agroholding bought an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) worth of UAH 500 thousand.

The UAV will be able to cover from 700 to 1000 hectares, which will enable the company to implement high-quality analytics and promptly make the necessary changes to the technological map of the fields.

"Mriya started aerial field monitoring 2 years ago using drones and satellite data. However, compared to a drone, the effectiveness of these methods is rather low," Alexander Khmelyuk, Chief Agronomist, Head of the Department of Technological and Scientific Expertise of the agricultural holding, comments.

Agroholding acquired UAV for monitoring sugar beet and potato fields.

Previously it was reported that the International Finance Corporation (IFC) requested authorization to purchase elevators of Mriya Agroholding in Ternopil region as part of the restructuring.
