Continental Farmers Group finalizes the purchase of Mriya Agroholding

Continental Farmers Group transaction on the purchase of Mriya Agroholding is almost complete. This was informed to Latifundist.com by several sources in the market, familiar with the negotiations process.

"The parties have already agreed, the deal is close to completion. Now the final legal nuances are being settled," says one of the sources.

According to our information, the deal will soon be officially announced to the market.

Previously it was reported that in June Mriya had received the official offer regarding the acquisition of the entire business and assets from a reputable international strategic investor with successful experience in Ukraine.

Latifundist.com requested information on the details of the agreement from Mriya and got the following answer:

"The offer is conditional upon a satisfaction of a number of conditions, including the successful completion of the restructuring of the company and its subsidiaries and receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. There is no assurance that a transaction will result from the offer, which remains subject to the negotiation of definitive transaction documentation. Following implementation of the restructuring, execution of any sale transaction is subject to the consent of Mriya Farming's stakeholders pursuant to the terms and conditions of the New Notes and interest holders' agreement of Mriya Farming Plc adopted in accordance with the terms of the restructuring," the message states.

Latifundist.com will keep you informed about the transaction progress.
