Ukraine to export 16 mln tons of milling and fodder wheat in 2018/19 — draft Memorandum

In MY2018/19, Ukraine should deliver 16 million tons of milling and fodder wheat to foreign markets.

Such indicative annual volume of wheat exports of Group A and B (I-V classes) is specified in the draft "Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and participants of the grain market for MY2018-2019 (effective since 01.07.2018)", which Latifundist.com has the access to.

Revision of the total estimated annual volume of wheat exports (milling and fodder) will be implemented by September 28, 2018.

On August 10, 2018, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the grain market participants will sign a Memorandum of Understanding for MY2018/19.

Previously it was reported that the President of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) Nikolay Gorbachov stressed that it was necessary to remove the article about 1st–5th class milling wheat as it misled the international partners.
