UkrLandFarming expects a 15% increase in corn yield

The UkrLandFarming agroholding is expecting a 15% increase in corn yield in 2018, UNIAN reports.

According to Victor Spassky, Deputy Director General for Agricultural Production, this was made possible due to excellent weather conditions, as well as the use of new technologies for plant nutrition and protection.

"In 2018, we expect corn yield at the planned level and plus 15% in some regions. The natural conditions combined with the nutrition and plant protection technologies we use in UkrLandFarming perfectly helped corn in the most critical periods of its growth," he said.

Previously it was reported that UkrLandFarming had launched the additional grain acceptance line at the elevator in Zhytomyr region. Now, the 70 thou. tons elevator can accept two grain crops simultaneously.
