Potato exports in Jan-Aug estimated at USD 2 mln

Ukraine in January-Aug 2018 exported 11.09 thou. tons of potatoes for the amount of USD 1.98 million.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU) reports that the key importers in the reporting period are as follows:
- Moldova — 7.85 thou. tons (USD 1.4 mln);
- Belarus — 2.79 thou. tons (USD 497 thou.);
- Georgia — 297 tons (USD 53 thou.).
Reference: in the year 2018, potato yield in the EU is expected to decline 12%.
