Ukrainian flour supplies fail to improve

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that Ukraine exported 156.8 thou. tons of flour by February 13th, 2019.

This figure is 130 thou. tons less than it was exported in last year's comparative period.

Since the start of MY2018/19, wheat flour shipments amount to 155.9 thou. tons, whereas other types of flour — 0.9 thou. tons.

In MY2017/18, flour exports reached 413 thou. tons.

In the 2018 calendar year, Ukraine shipped for export 41.7 million tons. In monetary terms, exports resulted in the highest value for the history of Ukraine — USD 7.2 billion.
