Agroton net profit increased 1.6x in 2018

In the year 2018, Agroton received USD 13.5 million of net profit, 62.6 per cent higher from the 2017 figure of USD 8.3 million, the WSE reports.

The company's revenue increased by 10.4 per cent to USD 57.2 million. The report indicates that the gross profit improved by 22 per cent to almost USD 20 million, and operating profit surged 33.7 per cent to USD 11.5 million.

Profit per share increased 1.63x to USD 0.62 versus USD 0.38 for the year 2017.

As previously reported, the majority stakeholder in Agroton Public Limited Iurii Zhuravlov acquired 484.000 shares of the company thus concentrating 68.5 per cent of all shares of the company.
