EBT Grain and Glencore Agriculture Ukraine became partners

The port operator, EBT Grain, will handle Glencore Agriculture Ukraine grain at the Eurovneshtorg grain terminal (Mykolaiv seaport) in the 2019/20 season.

The relevant agreement was signed by the companies in late June. According to the document, the port operator will provide the trader with services of in-port forwarding, transshipment and cargo clearance at the Eurovneshtorg terminal.

The first volumes of rapeseed and peas are already delivered to the terminal, the accumulation and formation of ship parties is underway.

"Currently, almost 90% of rapeseed grown in Ukraine and more than 70% of peas are exported. Asian, European and African countries are the key buyers. Our terminal is versatile and is ready to provide transshipment and qualitative storage of more than nine grain crops, oilseed and legume cargoes, including rapeseed and peas. I am glad that the leading trader of agricultural products in Ukraine has become our partner," said Serhiy Gunko, Director of EBT Grain.

Earlier it was reported that EBT Grain would handle grain for Cargill and Soufflet Négoce at the Eurovneshtorg grain terminal (Mykolaiv seaport) in the 2019/20 season.
