EBRD provides a EUR 20 mln credit facility for Dniprovska Agri Group

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide the Dniprovska Agri Group poultry company with a loan of up to EUR 20 million for the reconstruction and expansion of its slaughterhouse.

The total project cost is EUR 33.8 million, including EUR 23.8 million to be invested during 2019-2020 and EUR 10 million during 2002-2021.

The project will support the Group's obtaining the required certifications for entering the market of the European Union.

NOTE: in March 2018, EBRD allocated USD 5 million to the Dniprovska Agri Group for the construction of a biogas plant. The total cost of the project amounted to USD 5.85 million.

As previously reported, EBRD might invest in Ukraine's economy about EUR 1 billion annually. About 20 per cent of this amount may fall on agricultural projects.
