Harvest Online 2019: 25 pct of early grains crop left

By July 24th, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 7.2 million hectares or 74%. The crop reached 26.1 million tons using the average yield of 3.63 t/ha (2018: 3.18 t/ha).

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 18.9 million tons on 4.9 million hectares or 74% yielding 3.85 t/ha;
  • barley — 6.5 million tons on 2 million hectares or 79% yielding 3.28 t/ha;
  • peas — 553 thou. tons on 244 thou. hectares or 86% yielding 2.27 t/ha;
  • rye — 71 thou. tons on 27 thou. hectares or 24% yielding 2.58 t/ha;
  • oats — 39 thou. tons on 17 thou. hectares or 9% yielding 2.36 t/ha;
  • winter rapeseed — 2.8 million tons on 1.1 million hectares or 89% yielding of 2.44 t/ha.
