Harvest Online 2019: grains threshed on 10 million hectares

As of August 21st, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 10 million hectares or 65%. The crop reached 38.9 million tons using the average yield of 3.9 tons per hectare.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • early grain and leguminous crops — 38.7 mln tons on 9.9 mln hectares or 99%;
  • buckwheat — 2 thou. tons on 2 thou. hectares or 3% (68 thou. ha) yielding 1.26 t/ha;
  • millet — 31 thou. tons on 17 thou. hectares or 19% (90 thou. ha) yielding 1.78 t/ha;
  • sunflower — 15 thou. tons on 10 thou. hectares of 5.8 million hectares yielding 1.44 t/ha.
