Ukroilprom named the largest unrefined sunflower oil producers in 2018/19

In 2018/19, European Transport Stevedoring Company, Bunge subsidiary, held a 6.8% share in the total unrefined sunflower oil production in Ukraine, the Ukroilprom Association reports.

The key producers of unrefined sunflower oil in the reporting period are as followed:

  1. European Transport Stevedoring Company (Bunge) — 6.8%;
  2. Optimus Agro Trade (Zaporizhzhya OFP) — 6.3%;
  3. Vinnytsia Oil and Fat Production Plant (ViOil) — 5.1%;
  4. Prydniprovsky Oil Crushing Plant (Kernel) — 4.9%;
  5. Allseeds — 4.6%;
  6. Bandursky Oil Extraction Plant (Kernel) — 4.5%;
  7. Ukrainian Black Sea Industry (Kernel) — 4.5%;
  8. ADM — 3.8%;
  9. Dnipropetrovsk Oil Extraction Plant (Bunge) — 3,7%;
  10. Delta Wilmar CIS — 3.6%;
  11. Kropyvnytsky OEP — 3.3%;
  12. Cargill — 3.3%.

As a reminder, in 2018/19 record volumes of sunflower oil were exported by Ukraine — 6.04 mln tons, 14% higher from the previous season, and by Russia — 2.7 mln t (+19.5%). Together, these countries accounted for 76% of total world exports of the product.
