Plants processed 5.66 mln t of sugar beet

As of October 31st, plants in Ukraine produced 830.3 thou. t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.
5.66 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants started beet sugar production season.
As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
Previously reported that 7.2 mln t of sugar beet were harvested on 166 thou. ha or 75% of the total areas by October 29th. The average yield stood at 43.7 t/ha.
