NIBULON to boost river transportation in 2020

In the year 2019, NIBULON river transportation totalled 3.8 mln t. The company aims at increasing this indicator to 5 mln t, 31% up. This was announced by Deputy CEO for Logistics Sergei Kalkutin in the framework of the 2nd Agrarian Forum Elevator-2020, Elevatorist.com writes.
"Today, NIBULON's fleet totals 78 vessels. Within 2010-20, we intensified river transportation from 50 thou. t to 3.8 mln t. The company is set to transport 5 mln t p.a.," noted Sergei Kalkutin.
In 2018, NIBULON increased river transportation by 35%.
As a reminder, NIBULON exported around 5.3 mln t of agricultural commodities in 2019. The company managed to set another record, having increased the 10-years one by 8%.
