Ukrainian rapeseed prices at 5-year high

Rapeseed is dealing on a new high since the start of the campaign at 430 USD/t, Odesa basis, the Agritel consultancy informs.

"This is the highest level reached for the last 5 seasons," the company notes.

By the end of this week, wheat prices on the Ukrainian physical market continue declining.

Analysts said that yesterday, on a delivered basis, the milling wheat lost 2 USD/t to 190 USD/t.

"For the week, the decline amounts to -4 USD/t, like on the Russian wheat FOB Novorossiysk. The feed wheat is more resilient to this bearish pressure, as a sign of the good quality level of the Black Sea production this year," the report reads.

Barley is particularly firm at 174 USD/t on port delivered basis.

On a forward basis, the corn remains stable at 153 USD/t, port delivered.

Previously reported that grain and leguminous crops production in Cherkasy region reached 1.17 mln t on 244 thou. ha or 34% of the planned areas. The crops yielded 4.8 t/ha on average (2019: 5.46 t/ha).
