Harvest Online 2020: soybean cuts started

As of September 3, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 41.8 mln t of main crops on 11.3 mln ha, of which grains and legumes make up 38.5 mln t harvested on 9.7 mln ha, or 63% of the planned areas.

Soybean harvesting has started in nine regions of the country. The new harvest has reached 49.86 thou. t on 30.09 thou. ha, or 2% of the planned areas. The crop yields 1.66 t/ha on average.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 26.95 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 4.11 t/ha
  • barley: 8.79 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.69 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 90.63 thou. t on 44.47 thou. ha (30%) yielding 2.04 t/ha
  • sunflower: 700.62 thou. t on 455.47 thou. ha (7%) yielding 1.54 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 35.75 thou. t on 26.89 thou. ha (34%) yielding 1.33 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.
