Harvest Online 2020: corn campaign started at 4.14 t/ha

As of September 10, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 43.4 mln t of main crops on 12.3 mln ha, of which grains and legumes make up 38.7 mln t harvested on 9.8 mln ha, or 64% of the planned areas.

Corn harvesting has started in eight regions of the country. The new harvest has reached 107 thou. t on 25.8 thou. ha, or 0.47% of the planned areas. The crop yields 4.14 t/ha on average.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 26.95 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 4.11 t/ha
  • barley: 8.79 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.69 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 138.3 thou. t on 80.6 thou. ha (54%) yielding 1.72 t/ha
  • sunflower: 1.98 mln t on 1.2 mln ha (19%) yielding 1.64 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 46.8 thou. t on 36 thou. ha (46%) yielding 1.3 t/ha
  • soybean: 217.9 thou. t on 123.7 thou. ha (9%) yielding 1.76 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.
