Harvest Online 2020: 33% of grains left to thresh

As of September 24, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 48 mln t of main crops on 15.5 mln ha, of which grains and legumes make up 37.6 mln t harvested on 10.3 mln ha, or 67% of the planned areas.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 25.1 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 3.83 t/ha
  • barley: 7.77 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.26 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 181.81 thou. t on 101.61 thou. ha (68%) yielding 1.79 t/ha
  • sunflower: 6.8 mln t on 3.59 mln ha (56%) yielding 1.9 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 72.24 thou. t on 55.96 thou. ha (71%) yielding 1.29 t/ha
  • soybean: 968.89 thou. t on 485.32 thou. ha (36%) yielding 1.99 t/ha
  • corn: 2.19 mln t on 485.99 thou. ha (9%) yielding 4.5 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.

Sugar beet campaign on the reporting date progressed to 242 thou. t on 5 thou. ha (2%) using the average yield of 48.21 t/ha.
