Harvest Online 2020: grains and legumes progress to over 50 mln t

As of October 26, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 66.8 mln t of main crops on 21.03 mln ha, of which grains and legumes total 50.5 mln t harvested on 12.9 mln ha, making up 84% of the planned areas.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 25.1 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 3.83 t/ha
  • barley: 7.77 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.26 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 240 thou. t on 147.7 thou. ha (98%) yielding 1.62 t/ha
  • sunflower: 11.6 mln t on 5.9 mln ha (92%) yielding 1.97 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 96.2 thou. t on 75.4 thou. ha (96%) yielding 1.28 t/ha
  • soybean: 2.2 mln t on 1.08 mln ha (80%) yielding 2.02 t/ha
  • corn: 14.5 mln t on 3.07 mln ha (56%) yielding 4.73 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.

Sugar beet campaign on the reporting date progressed to 3.7 mln t on 88.5 thou. ha (41%) using the average yield of 41.51 t/ha.
