CFG paid UAH 923 mln of taxes in 2020

In 2020, Continental Farmers Group (CFG) paid more than UAH 923.3 mln of taxes to budgets of all levels, UAH 253.2 mln more YoY. As reported by the company, Continental allocated UAH 30.8 mln for the social welfare of the communities with which the agricultural holding cooperates on the territory of 5 regions of Western Ukraine.

More than UAH 8.5 mln out of UAH 30.8 mln of the company's social investments are aimed at aiding the fight against COVID-19.

"Last year, the whole world faced a challenge called COVID-19. We learned to live and work by new ways and, same time, enhanced the support of communities and healthcare professionals. Almost UAH 2 mln hryvnias were directed for the purchase of oxygen concentrators, and we co-financed the purchase of ventilators. The company sought to help each community it works in. We bought respirators, masks, protective and disinfection equipment not only for medical staff but also for mailmen and social workers, who are in constant contact with people. The pandemic is a problem we all deal with and we can only stand it by combining our efforts," says Georg von Nolcken, CEO Continental Farmers Group.

Moreover, Continental financed the implementation of projects in the areas of improvement, spirituality, infrastructure, culture, and the support and development of the cooperative movement.

Previously reported that the company Continental Farmers Group (CFG) started the construction of a new potato storage facility in the village of Chukva in Sambir district of Lviv region.
