Ukraine imported 5 thou. t of pork in first 2 months of 2021 — customs

Pork import to Ukraine in January-February 2021 totalled 5.07 thou. t. The dollar value of meat supplied is USD 8.46 mln, the data of the State Customs Service of Ukraine show.

The largest exporting countries:

• Denmark: 2.16 thou. t, USD 3.6 mln, 42.58% of the total supply
• Poland: 1.3 thou. t, USD 2.18 mln, 25.78%
• Canada: 891.5 t, USD 1.49 mln, 17.57%
• other countries: 714.41 t, USD 1.19 mln, 14.08%

Pork export from Ukraine in the first two months of 2021 summed 485 t, 33.24% more YoY (Jan-Feb 2020: 364 t). The dollar value of pork shipped is USD 944 thou.

Ukrainian pork was imported by:

• U.A.E.: 317.34 t, USD 617 thou., 65.43%
• Hong Kong: 67.9 t, USD 132 thou., 14%
• Angola: 46.27 t, USD 90 thou., 9.54%
• others: 53.5 t, USD 104 thou., 11.03%
