Phytosanitary certificates go digital: Magaletska

Quality certificates for Ukrainian grain are intended for digitalization in the near future. This move will strengthen Ukraine's position on international markets, stated the head of the SSUFSCP Vladyslava Magaletska at the International Conference Grain Ukraine 2021.

"We have plans to implement a pilot project for the digitalization of phytosanitary certificates. I trust that we will soon see the results of this project in each of the regions," she said.

According to Vladyslava Magaletska, since the beginning of 2021, 16 mln t of grains and oilseeds, including nearly 3.2 mln t of wheat, 0.35 mln t of barley, and 12 mln t of corn were exported from Ukraine having phytosanitary certificates.

The CEO and Head of Sales of Agroprosperis Ihor Osmachko expressed an opinion that Ukrainian grain will be in higher demand in the Asian markets.
