Ascet Shipping will lease two barges from NIBULON

Ascet Shipping, a port operator, signed an agreement with an agricultural holding NIBULON to lease two barges in Berdyansk Sea Port, the CEO of OPT Leasing Andriy Pavlushyn writes on Facebook.

Reportedly, the vessels are 101 m in length, and each has the capacity of 4.5 thou. t. The lease term is for a period of 8 years.

The total amount of the deal is USD 4.5 mln, Ports of Ukraine report. NIBULON adds that Ascet Shipping will lease the already built at its shipbuilding and ship repair plant barges of mixed navigation (river-sea) project B5000. The carrying capacity is 5 thou. t.

Previously reported that NIBULON transported grain by the river Pivdennyi Buh via a new transportation method.
