Soybean production in Ukraine crossed 2 mln t, new crop 61% harvested

Soybean production in Ukraine as of 13 October reached 2,013.73 mln t on 783.72 thou. ha, 61% of the projected area. Soybean covers 1.28 mln ha in Ukraine in 2021/22(September 2021-August 2022).
The average yield of soybean on the reporting date was 2.57 t/ha (Oct. 2020: 2 t/ha).
The top three regions by soybean production since the start of the campaign:
- Khmelnytsky: 271.7 thou. t
- Zhytomyr: 204 thou. t
- Poltava: 196.9 thou. t
The highest soybean yields in Ukraine are harvested in the following regions:

The new crop campaign in Ukraine was 70% completed as of 13 October. Grains and legumes yielded 52.6 mln t.
