Harvest Online 2021: corn 73% collected in Ukraine, yields 7.1 t/ha on average

As of 11 November, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 73.4 mln t of new crop grain on 14.5 mln ha, 91% of the projected area. The average yield as of the reporting date stood at 5.08 t/ha.

Crop progress in Ukraine as of the reporting date:

  • wheat (winter and spring): 32.3 mln t on 7 mln ha (100% of the total area), using the average yield of 4.62 t/ha
  • barley (winter and spring): 9.6 mln t on 2.45 mln ha (100%), 3.91 t/ha
  • rapeseed: 2.9 mln t on 1.01 mln ha (100%), 2.86 t/ha
  • sunflower: 15.6 mln t on 6.4 mln ha (98%), 2.45 t/ha
  • peas: 576.2 thou. t on 236.3 thou. ha (100%), 2.44 t/ha
  • sugar beet: 9.66 mln t on 205.73 thou. ha (91%), 46.97 t/ha
  • corn: 28.13 mln t on 4 mln ha (73%), 7.05 t/ha
  • soybean: 3.33 mln t on 1.26 mln ha (99%), 2.64 t/ha
  • millet: 184.7 thou. t on 77.7 thou. ha (100%), 2.37 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 110.04 thou. t on 83.28 thou. ha (99%), 1.32 t/ha

The highest average yield of grains was reported by the producers of Khmelnytsky region — 7.7 t/ha.

Regions having harvested the biggest crop as of 11 November:

  • Vinnytsya: 5.48 mln t
  • Odesa: 4.95 mln t
  • Chernihiv: 4.93 mln t

Sunflower average yield in Khmelnytsky region reached 3.42 t/ha, the best indicator in Ukraine so far. 14 regions of Ukraine have completed the sunflower campaign.

Winter crops sowing in Ukraine as of 8 November was 94% completed.
