Ukraine bans poultry imports from Poland
Ukraine has introduced a ban on import of poultry, poultry meat and by-products (except raw materials and products of poultry, processed to ensure the destruction of the disease excitant) from Poland.
This was reported on the website of the Food Safety and Veterinary Service of Ukraine.
The highly pathogenic avian influenza disease was registered on the territory of Lubuevsk Province in Poland according to the official report of the World Organisation for Animal Health.
Earlier it was reported that the ban on the import of poultry products was introduced for Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary and Germany.
