Ukraine increased oil and fat products export by 19%

From the beginning of 2016/17 MY as of June 1, 2017, Ukraine exported the major types of fat and oil products for the amount of $4.2 billion, which is 18.64% more than in 2015/16 MY ($3.54 billion).

This was reported by the press service of Ukroliyaprom Association.

"During 9 months of 2016/17 MY, oils production increased by 30%. This was facilitated by a record increase in the production of sunflower oil by 133%", the report said.

It is noted that there is a significant reduction in the production and export of rapeseed oil, which is caused by the massive export of 2016 rapeseed crop.
