In January-August Ukraine exported 9 million tons of wheat

Ukraine in January-August 2017 exported 9.31 million tons of wheat worth $1.48 billion.

According to SFS, the main importers of Ukrainian wheat in the reporting period are Egypt ($315.94 million), India ($199.34 million) and Bangladesh ($150.99 million).

Exports to these countries amounted to 1.99 million tons, 1.26 million tons and 0.95 million tons of wheat, respectively.

The gross grain harvest in Ukraine in 2017/2018 MY, depending on the weather conditions, is estimated at 60.2-63 million tons.
