MHP plans to increase the land bank to 550 thousand hectares

The company Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) plans to increase the land bank to 550 thousand hectares in 3-5 years.

This is reported in the company's non-financial report for 2016.

In addition to increasing the land bank, the strategic priorities for the development of MHP until 2023 include:

• expansion of capacities for poultry meat production in Ukraine (Vinnitsa complex — the second stage, 260 thousand tons of chicken meat a year);
• purchase of meat processing facilities in the EU and UK;
• increase in the presence of high value-added food products in the markets;
• increase the efficiency of its production through innovation and modernization, etc.

Let us remind, that MHP intends to purchase the third plant in Europe for the production of meat semi-finished products. The company plans to set on foot the production of meat semi-finished products for the European market.

Note: according to the rating TOP 100 latifundists of Ukraine, the land bank of the MHP amounts to 370 thousand hectares.
