Ukraine exported 131 thousand tons of sorghum in January-August

Ukraine in January-August 2017 exported 131.47 thousand tons of sorghum for $18.93 million.

According to the Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the main importers of sorghum in the reporting period are Spain ($14.05 million), Israel ($1.27 million) and Poland ($1.04 million).

Exports to these countries amounted to 97.59 thousand tons, 8.83 thousand tons and 7.22 thousand tons of sorghum, respectively.

Let us remind, that the European Commission increased duties on imports of corn, sorghum and rye by 2.12 times.
