The decision to grant additional quotas for agricultural products came into force on October 1
On October 1, the decision of the European Union to grant Ukraine additional trade preferences, which will be in effect for three years, came into effect.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petr Poroshenko on his Facebook page.
"Autonomous trade preferences for Ukraine come into force, which are additional to the agreement on the free trade zone with the EU. This means an increase in the volume of agricultural products that Ukraine can export to the EU without paying a fee for 3 years," Petr Poroshenko noted.
Note: the following additional annual quotas are established: honey — 2,5k tons, processed tomatoes — 3k tons, wheat — 65k tons, corn — 625k tons, barley — 325k tons.
