The largest sunflower processors for September-August 2016/17 MY are named

The leading place among the largest processors of sunflower for September-August is preserved by Kernel, which accounted for about 23% of the production of unrefined sunflower oil, as well as 20% of refined sunflower oil.

This is reported by ProAgro.

The top-5 producers of unrefined sunflower oil includes:

• Kernel — 23% (share in total production);
• Vioil — 7%;
• Optimus Agro — 6%;
• European Transport Stevedoring Company — 6%;
• Myronivsky Hleboproduct — 6%.

The largest producers of refined sunflower oil are Kernel (20%), Bunge Ukraine (17%) and Delta Wilmar CIS (14%). The leaders in the production of sunflower meal/cake are Kernel (22%), Optimus Agro (7%) and European Transport Stevedoring Company (7%).
