95% of the area are ready for sowing winter crops in Ukraine — Sowing Online 2017/18

As of October 6, Ukrainian agrarians prepared 7.6 million hectares or 95% of the projected areas for sowing winter crops. 

According to data of the Latifundist.com project Sowing Online 2017/18, agrarians sowed winter wheat on an area of 4.5 million hectares (74%), winter barley — 335 thousand hectares (36%), winter rye — 122 thousand hectares (76%).

The sowing of winter rapeseed continues, the acreage under the crop is 805 thousand hectares (104%).
