Coarse grain production forecast in Ukraine in 2017/18 MY reduced to 37 million tons

Forecast of coarse grain production in Ukraine in 2017/18 MY reduced by 0.5 million tons to 36.99 million tons.

According to US Department of Agriculture (USDA), production of coarse grain should decrease by 2.27 million tons as compared to 2016/17 MY (39.26 million tons).

It is noted that the export of coarse grain from Ukraine is estimated at 26.31 million tons, which is 0.5 million tons less than the previous forecast and by 0.76 million tons less than in 2016/17 MY.

Reference: according to forecasts, world production of coarse grain in 2017/18 MY should decrease by 2.84 million tons and will amount to 1.319 billion tons.
