648 thousand tons of sugar produced in Ukraine

As of October 17, Ukrainian agrarians processed 4.82 million tons of sugar beet and produced 647.7 thousand tons of sugar.

The association Ukrsugar forecasts 46 sugar plants to work in 2017/18 MY. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
