Astarta in 9M 2017 increased soybean processing revenues to EUR 58 million

The soybean processing segment agro-industrial holding Astarta-Kiev generated revenues of EUR 58 million (9% higher y-o-y).

It is stated in the company's report that during the reporting period, the Globyno soybean processing plant crushed over 155 thousand tons of soybeans and produced c. 110 thousand tons of meal, 28 thousand tons of oil, and 8.5 thousand tons of husk.

Sales of soybean oil increased by 15% y-o-y to over 32 thousand tons, while meal sales volumes demonstrated a minor decrease (1% lower y-o-y) to around 106 thousand tons.

Earlier it was reported that Astarta for 9M 2017 increased consolidated revenues by 61% to EUR 349 million.
