41 sugar plants produced 1.4 million tons of sugar

As of November 16, Ukrainian agrarians produced 1.4 million tons of sugar.

National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) reports that the volume of processed sugar beet amounts to 9.95 million tons.

41 sugar plant started the production season. Association forecasts 46 sugar plants to function in MY 2017/18. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
