An innovative solution for business management presented by Kernel

Kernel presented an innovative software solution for business processes management — DigitalAgriBusiness. The presentation took place within the framework of IDC Digital Transformation Forum 2017 in Kiev.

According to Alexander Khizhnyak, the head of agribusiness IT projects at Kernel, the development includes planning and management of work processes, control over the implementation of plans, monitoring, and applications for gadgets.

"Today, a human brain and Excel are a deterrent for agrarians, especially if talking about large companies. We were looking for a solution in the market that would enable us to manage all the work processes, control and plan. But none of the existing solutions are suitable for a company of our size. Therefore, we have taken up the development of such a platform," Alexander Khizhnyak said.

The development of the software began in September 2016. Such innovative companies as ELEKS and Microsoft were attracted the project. Now it is on its final stage. The first module of the platform was planned to be launched on February 1, 2018.

Alexander Khizhnyak said that the innovation will allow to optimize production processes, increase crop yields up to 25%, cut expenses by 10%, and also to increase the work speed. The agri-holding's plans are to become the most efficient agro-company in the world in terms of technology and costs.

"Personnel reorganization in the company does not affect the implementation of this software. On the contrary, it is the initiative of Yevgeny Osipov. This solution is designed to unite our divisions and move together towards the goal," Alexander Khizhnyak summed up.
