Organic buckwheat exports reached 388 tons

In the year 2017, buckwheat was exported from Ukraine in the amount of 511 tons, 388 tons (or 76%) of which was organic, APK-Inform reports.

In 2016, the share of Ukrainian organic buckwheat in the total volume of this crop exports was 70%.

According to the report, 3 Ukrainian companies, namely Tysa Bio, Organic Agro and Etnoprodukt, exported organic buckwheat in 2017.

Reference: in January-November 2017, Ukraine exported 157.8 thou. tons of organic crops, which is 11% more than over the same period a year earlier.
