Export of flour exceeded 377k tons

Ukraine from the beginning of MY2017/18, as of May 2, 2018, exported 377.4 thou. tons of flour, which is 74.5 thou. tons more than the exported volume over the corresponding period of the previous marketing season.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that Ukrainian exporters delivered 376 thou. tons of wheat flour to foreign markets. Export of flour of other types over the reporting period amounted to 1.4 thou. tons.

Reference: the production of wheat and/or wheat and rye flour in January-March 2018 reached 447 thou. tons, which is 3.7% lower than over the same period in the year 2017.
