Ukrainian grain exports turn 39 MT

Since the start of MY2017/18, grain exports from Ukraine amount to 39 million tons.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that the export of wheat reached 17 million tons, corn — 17.6 million tons, barley — 4.2 million tons, and rye — 36.8 thou. tons.

Over the reporting period, flour shipments totaled 412.4 thou. tons.

Reference: FAO projects that the volume of global grain trade in MY2018/19 will make up 409.6 million tons, which is 0.5% (2 million tons) higher than in MY2017/18.
