Ukraine doubled egg exports in 7 months of 2018

According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Ukraine exported 54.22 thousand tons of eggs worth USD 47.58 million in January/July 2018, which is 94.46% (26.34 thousand tons) more than during the same period in 2017.

The main importers of Ukrainian eggs in the reporting period are:

• the UAE – 21.51 thousand tons worth USD 18.88 million;
• Iraq – 10.85 thousand tons worth USD 9.5 million;
• Qatar – 5.11 thousand tons worth USD 4.49 million.

Reference: in 2017, Ukraine exported 88.58 thousand tons of eggs worth USD 68.64 million.
