Potato shipments in Jan-Sep stand at 14 thou. tons

In the period from January to September 2018, potato shipments from Ukraine amount to 13.74 thou. tons. The exported produce is worth USD 2.33 million.

The State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine informs that the key importers of the Ukrainian potato in the reporting period are Moldova (USD 1.76 million), Belarus (USD 497 thou.) and Georgia (USD 54 thou.). Exports to these countries make up 10.33 thou. tons, 2.92 thou. tons and 317 tons, respectively.

Earlier it was reported that in 2018 the total potato crop in the EU would decrease by 12%.
