Harvest Online 2018: grains harvested on 13 mln ha

As of October 29, 2018, grain and leguminous crops are harvested on 13.3 mln ha or 89% of the areas.

According to the Harvest Online 2018 project, 56.7 mln tons of grain have been threshed with a productivity of 4.28 tons/ha (2017: 4.02 tons/ha).

The following yields are reported:

  • corn — 21.7 mln tons on 3.1 mln ha (68%) with a productivity of 6.97 tons/ha (2017: 4.81 tons/ha);
  • buckwheat — 133 thou. tons on 106 thou. ha (98%) with a productivity of 1.26 tons/ha (2017: 1.09 tons/ha);
  • millet — 75 thou. tons on 48 thou. ha (93%) with a productivity of 1.55 tons/ha (2017: 1.46 tons/ha);
  • sunflower — 13 mln tons on 5.8 mln ha (96%) with a productivity of 2.24 tons/ha (2017: 1.96 tons/ha);
  • soybean — 4 mln tons on 1.6 mln ha (93%) with a productivity of 2.54 tons/ha (2017: 1.89 tons/ha);
  • sugar beet — 10 mln tons on 206 thou. ha (74%) with a productivity of 48.5 tons/ha (2017: 43.7 tons/ha). 8.5 mln tons are delivered to processing facilities.

The highest productivity of grain and leguminous crops is registered in Vinnytsia region — 6.44 tons/ha, Khmelnytsk region — 6.39 tons/ha, Cherkasy region — 6.35 tons/ha, Sumy region — 6.06 tons/ha, Kyiv region — 6 tons/ha and Poltava region — 5.87 tons/ha.
