Arnika heads for a record organic products export in 2018/19

In MY2018/19, the agro-industrial group Arnika plans to export a record volume of organic products — more than 30 thou. tons. This was informed by Andrey Pylypchenko, CEO and founder of the Group, APK-Inform reports.

According to him, in the immediate plans of the company include access to the new markets and the market of organic products processing — both feed and food.

“Farms of the company are certified according to EU, BioSuisse, NOP and COR standards, which makes it possible to sell organic products in the market of the European Union, Switzerland, the USA and Canada. In MY2018/19, we are starting deliveries to Italy and France. In addition, in 2018 we were certified according to the JAS standard and in the near future we plan to export organic corn to Japan,” said Andrey Pylypchenko.

Arnika leads the rating of agro-companies engaged in organic farming in Ukraine with more than 15.77 thou. hectares cultivated in accordance with the EU standard with no use of prohibited fertilizers and plant protection products.
