T.B. Fruit started a EUR 45 mln fruit processing plant construction

T.B. Fruit group of companies started the construction of the eighth fruit and berries processing plant of the group in the Brzostowiec village in Poland.

Interfax-Ukraine reports that Taras Barschovski, the owner of T.B. Fruit, estimated the investment in facility at EUR 45 million.

“Yearly processing capacity of apples will be 300 thousand tons, strawberries — 10 thousand tons, cherries — 6 thousand tons, raspberries — 12 thousand tons, and currants — 7 thousand tons. The production start is scheduled for July 2020,” commented Taras Barschovski.

Previously it was reported that T.B. Fruit planned to increase its land bank to 5 thousand hectares.
