Sugar beet processing crossed 2.5 mln t

As of October 8th, plants in Ukraine produced 361.7 thou. t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

2.56 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 27 plants started beet sugar production season.

As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
