Astarta-Kyiv share price lowest in five years

Over the last few days, the Astarta-Kyiv agro-industrial holding's share price has fallen to its lowest level in the last 5 years.

Under the WSE data, on October 9, the price per share amounted to PLN 16.9, on October 10 it increased to PLN 17.3.

The company's share price dropped to PLN 17.50 per share on December 22, 2014. The maximum increase was recorded on August 5, 2017 — PLN 72 per share.

After three years of profitable operations, Astarta-Kyiv reported a net loss of EUR 21.1 mln in 2018. The company attributed the weakening of its financial indicators to the unfavourable situation on both the sugar and grain markets.

Albacon Ventures Limited, wholly owned by Astarta's CEO Viktor Ivanchyk, has been actively buying the holding's shares for the last three years. Within June 3–4, 2019, Albacon Ventures Limited acquired in total 152 000 shares of the company.

Previously reported that Operations Director of Astarta-Kyiv, Zeljko Erceg, resigned from his post which he occupied since 2015 in August of the current year.
